What We Do
Equipped with reusable plates, bowls, cups, and mugs, we provide a sustainable service focused on eliminating single-use food packaging at events.
We provide reusable plates, bowls, cups, and mugs to food and beverage vendors, then wash and recirculate them for continued use. This process benefits events, stadiums, conferences, schools, food courts, and more by eliminating single-use food packaging, reducing waste, and leaving a cleaner footprint while diverting waste from landfill.
Our service includes:
Supply of plates and bowls: We ensure all food vendors have enough stock for the entire event.
Supply of pink bin skins: These are provided to cover 240L wheelie bins (bins not included).
Green My Plate signage: A-frames with signage to educate event patrons about the reusable plates and the closed-loop system.
Pre-event project management: We collaborate with the Event Management team to integrate the Green My Plate reusables and closed-loop system into the event’s waste management plan.
Vendor product coordination: Green My Plate will arrange with food vendors for their specific product requests (e.g. large plates, small plates). Event management will receive an online form that provides details on our products and dimensions, allowing vendors to select their preferred plate or bowl, which is then communicated back to us.
Marketing and education support: We assist with pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing and education of the Green My Plate system, including providing design files and imagery.
Cleaning supplies: Green My Plate will supply all necessary cleaning utensils, such as scrubbing brushes, gloves, tea towels, etc.
Post-event reporting: We provide a report detailing the number of plates and bowls washed, and how much waste was diverted from landfill.
** Cups and mugs are provided separately from the above service and are quoted as a distinct line item.
For smaller events, we also offer a dry hire option for our plates, bowls, cups, and mugs.
