The Role:
We’re looking for adaptable dishwashing event staff with a passion for sustainability to help eliminate single-use food packaging at events. This role is perfect for someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in, enjoys staying active, and excels in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Customer service experience is a plus, as well as anyone who enjoys engaging with people.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The tasks will vary, but will include:
Rinsing, washing, and drying reusable plates and bowls
Collecting plates and bowls from designated bins, as well as clearing dirty dishes from tables (acting as a waiter/waitress)
Counting plates to track the number saved from landfill, then redistributing them to food vendors
Educating event patrons on how the GMP system works
Distributing plates to food vendors

Remuneration:
Mon - Sat: $29.33 per hour
Sunday - $41.10 per hour
Public Holidays - $64.52 per hour
The above rates are exclusive of Superannuation.
